We can confirm that invitations to receive the COVID-19 vaccination have now started and local vaccinations are commencing this week. Invitations will initially be made via telephone and text message. Invitations will be sent gradually according to both the supply of vaccine from the NHS, and according to the priority groups set out by the Joint Committee on Vaccination & Immunisation. Please click here for our full Covid-19 vaccination update.
Outside the opening times we run Commuter Clinics for patients whose commitments prevent them from attending during normal surgery hours. Please check with the reception for current availability.
Pre-bookable face to face and telephonic appointments in the evenings and on weekends are available through a service called GP+ for patients across South Warwickshire. No walk-in patients will be accepted. Please check extended hour access for more information
Protected Learning Time (PLT)
In common with the majority of practices in the local area we are closed approximately one afternoon per month to participate in a protected learning programme for staff training and continuing professional development.
On days when the PLT is taking place the Practice closes at 12.30 and the phone lines are switched off. Occasionally, pre-booked clinics will be carried out by nursing staff but there is not typically a doctor on site.
Closure for upcoming PLT sessions is as follows:
|11th Mar 2021||22nd Apr 2021||19th May 2021|
|24th Jun 2021||15th Sep 2021||14th Oct|
Please Note - Dr Catriona Reid is on maternity leave until August 2021. Dr Waters is working on Tuesdays whilst Dr Reid is away on maternity leave.
