The practice is an old established one, working from a purpose built surgery specially designed with wheelchair access in mind.

If your call is urgent please call the surgery. If the surgery is closed a recorded message will be available with details of the emergency out of hours service. Please have a pen and paper available.

We offer an 'Open Access' system on Mondays where patients are offered an appointment to be seen on that day. The appointments for the remainder of the week are pre-bookable up to 4 weeks in advance. We will always attempt to give you an appointment on the requested day, but it may require a wait to see a specific doctor. Remember, you may have to wait to see a particular doctor on occasions. Patients are reminded they may consult any doctor within the practice.

Training/Medical Students
The practice became a training practice in February 2002 and has regular Registrar placements. Registrars are qualified Doctors who are undertaking their GP training.

Home Visits
To help Doctors plan their rounds, please request home visits before 10.00am Please consider carefully before requesting a home visit, as most problems are best dealt with at the surgery.

Test Results
Always telephone or call in for your results. Please telephone the surgery after 2pm approximately 7-10 days following the test.

Repeat Prescriptions
These can be requested in person, by phone, fax, post (please enclose a SAE) or via this website on the form provided. These are usually ready for collection within 2 working days. Please note prescriptions can only be collected from the surgery Mon-Fri.
